Last week, the Jones County Safe and Healthy Youth Coalition and Area Substance Abuse Council partnered to bring international speaker Kevin Sabet to Jones County. Speaking at the National Motorcycle Museum on April 1, Sabet informed the hundred or so attendees why marijuana should not be legal, and how those with medical conditions can get medicinal marijuana legally, without experiencing the side effects of actual marijuana.

    City Council sees benefit of expansion

    County’s burial assistance funds diminish

    Late winter delays start of golf season
